1. Container storage (Palma yard)

1.1. Facility access: Container storage is provided at our secure facility at Carrer Ca na Vinagre 10, 07007 Palma. Drive-up vehicle access is available for ground-floor units. Upper-level containers are reached via secured steel stairs and walkways.

1.2. Security & keys: All units have factory-fitted heavy-duty lockboxes. Customers provide their own padlock and keep exclusive custody of the key. The facility is protected by 24/7 video surveillance, security lighting and perimeter gates.

1.3. Prohibited goods: Storing combustible fuels, explosives, fireworks, illegal substances, toxic or hazardous chemicals, perishable food or living creatures is strictly prohibited.

1.4. Electricity use: Where 230V electricity is provided, it is intended only for battery chargers, dehumidifiers or small tools. Living or sleeping inside storage containers is strictly forbidden.

2. Container rental

2.1. Rental period: The standard minimum rental period is one (1) month, unless specified otherwise for 40ft HC units (minimum 3 months). Rental fees are billed 30 days in advance.

2.2. Delivery & crane positioning: Where delivery is contracted, transport and offloading are carried out by Hiab crane trucks. The customer must ensure clear, stable and unobstructed ground access suitable for heavy vehicles (up to 26 tonnes).

2.3. Return condition: Containers must be returned in the same clean, wind and watertight condition as supplied, fair wear and tear excepted. Modifications (drilling, welding, repainting) require prior written approval.

3. Container sales

3.1. Inspection: Buyers are encouraged to view units in person at our Palma yard. Condition grades (new one-trip, semi-new and inspected used, wind and watertight) are described in each quotation.

3.2. Transfer of ownership: Ownership of purchased containers passes to the buyer only on receipt of full payment of the invoice (including 21% VAT where applicable).

3.3. Sourcing: Units sourced on request from mainland ports (Valencia / Barcelona) are delivered within approximately 15–20 days, depending on availability and transport.

4. Prices, VAT & payment

4.1. Currency & taxes: All prices are in euros (€). Storage, rental and purchase prices are subject to Spanish VAT (IVA, 21%) unless legally exempt under intra-community B2B or export rules.

4.2. Security deposit: For storage and rental, a refundable deposit equal to one month's rent is collected when the contract is signed and refunded after the container has been checked out satisfactorily.

4.3. Payment methods: We accept SEPA bank transfer, credit/debit card and direct debit. Invoices are issued with the full tax details of Mi Sol Mallorca Invest SL.

5. Insurance & liability

5.1. Stored goods: Customers are solely responsible for insuring the value of the goods, boat equipment, tools or merchandise stored in or transported with containers.

5.2. Facility liability: Mi Sol holds premises and general liability insurance. However, Mi Sol is not liable for indirect or consequential damage or force majeure (e.g. extreme storm flooding, earthquakes, riots or civil unrest).

6. Applicable law & jurisdiction

These terms and any contract between the customer and Mi Sol Mallorca Invest SL are governed exclusively by Spanish law. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain, waiving any other jurisdiction that might apply.
